Disney has three parking options for Disneyland/Disney California Adventure (Mickey & Friends, Pixar Pals, and Toy Story) and the Simba lot at Downtown Disney. As of April 2024, the cost to park for the day is:
- $35.00 (USD) for a standard vehicle
- $40.00 (USD) for an oversized vehicle, motorhome, or tractor without a trailer (available at the Toy Story lot only)
- $45.00 (USD) for a bus or tractor with a trailer (available at the Toy Story lot only)
- Disney also offers preferred parking which allows you to park closer to the elevators and escalators for $55.00 (USD).
Annual passholders may receive a discount on parking at the time of payment (if not a blocked out day) for one standard vehicle.
You will pay for parking at the Disney park lots before you park.

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Parking Lots
Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking lots
The Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals lots are located at 1313 Disneyland Drive and you access both via any open lane (look for a green light above the lane entrance). Which structure you end up in is entirely based upon which has open spots when you arrive.
The parking lots are connected (you may even drive through one to get to the other) and all the elevators and escalators take you down to security and the trams. Most of the parking in these garages are covered.
Toy Story parking lot
The Toy Story parking lot is down the street at 1976 South Harbor Boulevard. It is an uncovered parking lot with security and bus shuttle service.
Downtown Disney parking lot
Downtown Disney has a large parking lot called the Simba parking lot located at 1717 Disneyland Drive and can ONLY be used to visit Downtown Disney (NOT the parks). The parking lot is uncovered.
As of April 2024, the cost to park at the Simba lot was:
- $10.00 (USD) for the first hour
- $14.00 (USD) for every hour after (charged in 30 minute increments) – minimum $7.00 (USD).
Visitors to Downtown Disney can get a portion of their ticket validated to reduce the cost. A $20.00 (USD) minimum purchase at any Downtown Disney location validates three hours of parking OR any table service restaurant validates up to five additional hours.
Validations apply only after the first hour of paid parking. The maximum parking fee for the day (or for a lost ticket) is $66. No locations within the Disneyland resorts validate for Downtown Disney parking.
Out-of-state placards
The state of California honors all valid handicap placards from anywhere within the United States and its territories. This means you can bring yours with you and use it to access a handicap parking spot when parking on Disney property.
The parking structures (and Downtown Disney) have lots of handicap parking spots on every level and they are located next to the elevators and escalators. Just show your placard to the cast members at every section and they will point you to the section that is currently open.
You will pay the standard parking price for your vehicle for the day.
If all of the handicap parking spots are filled, find a Cast Member and they will direct you to the closest available spot to the elevators (which may be on a different level).
Parking Tip: Take a picture of the graphic showing where you parked or take a second and plug the information into the Car Locator in the app (click on the three stacked lines on the bottom right > My Visit > Car Locator > Save Vehicle Location Button OR Manually Enter Your Vehicle Location.
